a vibrant semi-abstract of a  fishing boat by artist Michael Sanders

"I based this on a painting of Alghero harbour in Sardinia. What appealed to me was the juxtaposition of curved and straight lines, and strong colours. I've simplified and omitted, and kept to the bare essentials. While I was sketching for this image, I noticed one of the boats had a Cornish flag, so I added the 'PZ' registration".
