Tamar Valley evening
22" x 17" (55cm x 42cm)
oil on board
a quiet country lane in the Cornish Tamar valley, near Cotehele
House, by artist Michael Sanders "A nice example of a technique known
as sgraffito, this is a popular subject for a demonstration. Most people
have the impression that fine lines in wet oil paint are very tricky or
impossible, but with this method it's quite straightforward. The
complete painting was done in less than two hours as a demonstration for
an art society." Sold |
