The lovely Majorcan town of Valledemosa, famous for is association with Chopin and Georges Sand, painted in the evening sun by artist Michael Sanders

"This was painted initially almost in monochrome. Although it looks peaceful and isolated, to get this image I had to sit beside a busy, and quite narrow, road. I worked quickly, and glazed the colours on back at the hotel later, in peace".
